Daniel is a contracted Camera Operator working full-time for inbound marketing, PR and video agency Topline Comms in West London. He has a Masters Degree with Distinction in Cinematography and a Bachelor Degree in Film and enjoys shooting all kinds of creative projects.
Interest in camera operating and cinematography all started for Daniel
when receiving his first tape
camcorder a decade ago as a birthday present. He would often shoot and direct his own mini film trailers and edit them together in camera. And from there it went on!
Currently, Daniel mainly shoots corporate video, the odd commercial and 360 videos but also has a passion for shooting more creative projects such as documentary, short drama and music video.
In terms of camera equipment Daniel is proficient in shooting on a variety of large sensor digital cameras. The work featured on this website is shot mostly on the Canon C100/C300 Mark I & II, Canon 5D Mark III, RED Epic, Sony FS7, and Arri Amira.
Furthermore, Daniel is also experienced in lighting and commonly uses HMIs, Dedo Lights, Cine Lights, Divas, Celebs and LED Litepanels.
His documentaries in particular have received recognition in the past with nominations at Sheffield Doc/Fest (2012), Liverpool Lift-Off (2014) , HELD Film Festival (2014), St. Albans Film Festival (2014) and Aesthetica Film Festival (2014).
